Dr. Alter's slides for the 2011 NIH video "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome—Is There a Virus?" The slides give an understanding of why NIH undertook to settle the XMVR controversy. The presentation preceded the results of what turned out to be the definitive study showing XMVR contamination of lab samples had led to erroneous results.

Dr. Lo's 2011 slides of presenting his study showing his findings that ME/CFS patients were infected with XMVR. They are highly technical. However, the first few slides explain in lay-person's terms why the XMVR virus was being studied in regard to ME/CFS. It was later that his and other investigators' results were shown to be the result of contamination in the lab.
