Local Support Group Listing

There is a continued need for more support groups. If you feel that you have enough “personal or working knowledge” with CFIDS and/or FM and the desire to create a safe and encouraging environment where you and others could share experiences and information, then we can help you start a new group! Our association can offer you a training manual and guide you through the process. Interested parties can get in touch with the contact shown below.

All support groups are listed by the town where they are located. They are open to anyone from any area.

For inquiries about support groups outside of the New England area, please contact the CFIDS Association of America – www.cfids.org

It would be advisable that you call or email the contact shown below to obtain name and number of the leader for any given group. Even though locations are shown for most of the groups, it's possible there could be last minute changes or special events planned for some of their scheduled meetings.

Parents of Children and Adolescents with CFIDS/FM

This group meets several times over course of the year and thereare several telephone contacts.

Athol FM Group (Independent)

Meets 2nd Tue. of each month at Athol Hospital, 6:30 p.m.

Berkshire (Western Mass.)

Meets 3rd Tue. of month, 6:30 p.m. at the Berkshire Mall Community Room.

Brookline/Boston

1842 Beacon St. - suite 203, Brookline MA

Operates more as 'drop-in' center (no formal meetings) on the 1st Tue. of each month, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Meets 1st Tue. of the month at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, 10 a.m.

**Marlborough

Millis FM Group

Meets 1st Wed. of the month, 1 - 3 p.m., call for location.

Quincy

Meets 3rd Sun. of the month at Quincy Hospital, 2 - 4 p.m.

Salisbury (Independent)

Meets 1st Thur. of every month, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Hilton Senior Center, 37 Lafayette Rd. (Rt 1), Salisbury, MA 01952.

Stoneham FM Support Group

Meets 1st Tue. of month, 3 - 4 p.m. at the Stoneham Sr. Center, Elm St., Stoneham.

Taunton

Meets twice per month, 1st Wed. 1 - 2:30 p.m. and 3rd Thur. at Morton Hospital.
No meetings during July and August.

Worcester (Independent)

Meets last Sat. of the month at Blessed Sacrament Recreation Hall (separate building on the right side of church) at 1 p.m.
